LTC Lakin sitrep 11

Thanks to RC.

The prior link for LTC Lakin’s special page has gone.  When you try to go to that link you get the main page of American Patriot Foundation.  Clicking to the current projects link gets you to this:

Safeguard Our Constitution

APF defended LTC Terry Lakin. Lt. Lakin refused to deploy until Barak Obama proves is ellgibility to be president.

LTC Lakin received military orders in late February for deployment to Afghanistan, including a requirement that he provide “copies of his birth certificate.” LTC Lakin is prepared to provide a certified copy of his certification of vital record that lists his birth hospital, physician’s name and other key information. He has provided this document for many other required processes, such as his commissioning into the military as an officer, his security clearance and his marriage license. He is the highest ranking officer to go public over this controversy and the first active duty officer to do so.

“Defended” up to a point.

The same is true if you try to go to the website at which Mr. Jensen proclaimed he was lead counsel for LTC Lakin.  You are now directed to Jensen’s firm in California.

Here is a link to the cached Jensen website.

[Update]  Here is a link to the cached APF safeguardourconstitution.

I couldn’t get a past copy of the APF safeguardourconstitution from waybackmachine.  They didn’t capture that URL.  All they do is also link you back to the APF home page.  However, here is a SnagIt from Jensen’s former site.

imageYou can’t see the bars on this.  Some history rewriting going on?

Query:  who at this point is going to be paying LTC Lakin’s legal bills.  The website had solicited donations on the basis that they would be paying all of LTC Lakin’s legal bills did they not?  Or did I miss something on that?  What about all of the money donated to APF on behalf of LTC Lakin?

    Roger that.
At Leavenworth they wear a brown two-piece, very casual.

I got a screenshot showing the page with bars

The bars in front of Lakin’s picture would fade into view as part of a GIF animation running in an endless loop. Therefore it is not surprising that the screenshot of the webpage captures only the first frame of the animation – when the bars in front of Lakin are not yet visible.

The whole animation was pretty cheesy anyway – and given the seriousness of Lakin’s situation – was of questionable taste.

Looks like Jensen is trying to hunt bigger game. He couldn’t handle this case and from the looks of his next one…
The only folks I feel sorry for is whomever is Jensen’s victi…err client. Lakin excepted as he did leave his buddies behind. Old joke, but it is real appropriate here.

Whatever Mr. Lakin was, he is no more. But the saga will continue…
